Since its founding in 1986 as Manhattan Class Company, MCC Theater has become a leader among Off-Broadway not-for-profit theaters with its celebrated history of developing and producing challenging, engrossing new work. In addition, MCC Theater nurtures the development of emerging writers through its highly-regarded literary programs and provides arts education to students through a variety of initiatives including the MCC Theater Youth Company.
